Mostly you see the different pages in menus that will allow a user to access different content. Today, we will show you how to create a Custom page in WordPress
To get started adding a new page to your WordPress site, log in to your WordPress account find out the Pages menu on the left side Dashboard Navigation menu. Click Add new.
The page editor looks nearly similar to the post editor, other than for a few different boxes located on the right side of the screen. Now Add the title of the page, Now give the name to the page whatever you like Home, About, Etc If you have pretty permalinks set up, the title of the page will also be the URL slug.
After setting the title Next, add some content below in the content section. You can publish your page after putting content and title of the page and page exactly the same as for writing posts. When you’re almost ready to publish the page, either publish it immediately, save this as a draft, or schedule the page to be published later.
Page Attributes section applies a parent page & template to your new page. For the Parent section, you can manage your pages into hierarchies. For instance, you can create a new page with additional pages under it. Well, there are no limits you can nest pages how many levels you want. Many WordPress themes providing custom page templates, so the next section (Template section) allows you to apply a template to your new page if you wish to change other than the default page.
You can set your page numerically or alphabetically usually pages ordered alphabetically by default but with the help of Order box, you can set pages numerically. Preview your page one last time, Now click Publish. Congratulations You’ve added a new page to your WordPress site.
