It’s simple if you are not familiar with Gutenberg drag and drops blocks system then you can simply change Gutenberg to default WordPress editor which is”called Classic editor:”
You can do this by simply add a new plugin “ classic editor ” this is the simplest way you can get rid of your new update and get back into your old editor. However, your recently updated WordPress version will not be changed to the old version this classic editor plugin will only change editing options.

Step 1- Login to your WordPress dashboard then click posts.
Step 2- Click add new
After clicking add new you will have this page this is typical Gutenberg blocks page, here you can drag and drop everything supposes if you want to make a title then you have to drag title block then you can enter title name and if you want to add any media file or other content you have to find out the and drag the element and then upload your file or write in your writing blog. Leave it, for now, move on to our topic.
Step 3- Go to Plugins
Step 4- Add new plugin
Step 5- When you click Add new plugin you will get search option on a new page on the top-Right, type
” classic editor ”
Now install this plugin as you can see above.
Step 6- Activate this plugin.
Final step- Now come back to the post editor > Click Add New post, you will see the old classic editor page
Congratulations..! You have done it. You have got an old editor back you can simply type or upload files without drag and drop system.
